FROM THE ARTIST

Ah the magical, mystical Bruges at Christmas! Everything about this beautiful old city is paint worthy as it combines all the factors I love to paint: old buildings, light, water, reflections and a powerful presence of the joining of life, old and present. On either side of this river the buzz of excited voices filled the air. Christmas shoppers and diners flowed in and out between old buildings as they had done for hundreds of years. Half hidden, an empty boat peacefully bumped its mooring…who knows for how long?
