FROM THE ARTIST

Designed by John Gwynn to span the river Cherwell and built between 1772-1790, Magdalen Bridge is world famous and attracts many. It leads the way onto Oxford's High Street with its first neighbours being the Botanical Gardens and Magdalen College. This is a winter view from the gardens.
