Another sunset over Venice in winter. Soft light, lapping water, gentle sounds of lilting Italian voices mixed with accents of the more adventurous, crowd avoiding winter visitors. Music seeps out from closed windows and mingles with sounds of heels on cobblestones and lapping water. These ancient buildings still beat with life.
